The project builds on the longstanding cooperation between the Nordic embassies in Brazil on human rights, gender equality, and LGBTI rights. Despite progress, LGBTI persons in Brazil continue to face high levels of violence, discrimination, and social stigma. The project aims to raise awareness, promote dialogue, and strengthen support for equal rights. It will also contribute to increased understanding of these issues in the context of Brazil’s democratic processes and upcoming elections.
