The Weather Diaries - West Nordic Fashion in the Baltics Inspired by the unique landscapes and affected by harsh weather conditions, the West Nordic fashion is based on the modern lifestyle, that has its roots in cultural heritage and reflects the values of sustainable societies. The exhibition “The Weather Diaries”, produced by Nordic House in Reykjavik, showcases 11 installations and 30 painterly photographs from Iceland, Greenland and Faroe islands, exploring the impact of local traditions, nature and weather conditions on the individual creativity of West Nordic fashion designers. Instead of seasonal trends, the exhibition focuses on the use of traditional materials in a contemporary way and promotes the sustainable fashion.
