Dialekt serves to build bridges between cultural organizations through an artist exchange between Eastern Bloc in Canada, SoundArt Lab in Denmark and Inkonst in Sweden, through a process of exploring co-creation within audiovisual artistic expression and performance.The chosen artists from each country will have opportunities to explore different stages of creation as part of working periods in residence, resulting in public presentations such as live performances, artist talks, panels and workshops as part of festivals and public events at each institution.Through a number of group meetings, all hosting institutions meet together with the artists before, during, and after the creative periods to discuss co-creation and collaboration in digital arts and experimental sonic practices.
