Projektbeskrivning:

The project supports freedom of expression and human rights through the work of documentary filmmakers in Belarus. The two specific outcomes are: i) Improved capacity and ability among documentary filmmakers in Belarus to produce qualitative documentary films, and developed awareness of risks of filmmakers, ii) increased opportunities of cooperation and networking across borders for filmmakers specifically from Belarus, and improved opportunities for films reaching out with issues relating to democracy, gender equality, freedom of speech, human rights etc. Building on a solid base of professional capacity development experience, and a strong networks of partners, the project includes a year-long process of workshops & events and webinars for a selection of Belarusian filmmakers, and structured networking with human rights organsiation and film organisations.
