The aim of the project is to raise awareness and spark debate on the role of men in the context of gender equality in the Nordic Countries by emphasising different expressions of masculinities. The project will consist of three webinars. The online events will highlight the existing work on men and gender equality and research carried out in different countries. The webinars will focus on three thematic areas: i. men and gender equality policies, ii. the role of men in the times of crisis/in the age of social transformation and iii. engaging men and boys around different expressions of masculinities. The project will provide an opportunity to share knowledge and experiences between civil society organisations, researchers and policy makers in the Nordic countries on this theme.
