The aim of the project is to provide an extensive overview of the manifestation and impact of existing opposition to gender equality and LGBTI rights in the Nordic countries. The project consists of a study which addresses the widely reported mobilisation against issues related to e.g. sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), LGBTI rights and especially trans rights, and comprehensive sexual education in schools. The study consists of a survey and interviews. An online report will be published based on the findings. The main target groups of the study are authorities and other relevant stakeholders working in the area of gender equality policy and LGBTI policy as well as political decision makers, NGOs and researchers in the Nordic countries. The study will cover Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
