"Hosting artists in a residence" is an exchange project created by two experienced residency venues and one who is about to begin offering artistic residencies to international performing artists. Spending time in residencies is a well-documented method when creating new content for future productions. It is of vital importance for international exchange and development of performing arts that professional artists meet and share thoughts and work across borders. In this exchange we focus on the roles as hosting organizations. We have so much to learn from each other about what makes a good exchange work.
