A Nordic/North Atlantic Region workshop series will be developed and carried out including relevant stakeholders and actors from these regions with relevant knowledge and interest in the issues of the use of local data and knowledge in marine spatial planning. The aim of the workshop series is, together with identified relevant stakeholders, explore what key factors that can be identified that can enable local knowledge and data integration in marine spatial planning also needed for the enabling of developing coexistence solutions. This first workshop is dedicated to the exchange of knowledge and experience between stakeholders in the North Atlantic Region - Iceland, Scotland, Faeroe Islands, Norway and Sweden.
