Projektbeskrivning:

The proposed project aims to strengthen Nordic-Baltic cooperation in cultural heritage preparedness by establishing shared networks, increasing the exchange of knowledge, and developing new working methods for the protection of cultural heritage in situations of crisis and conflict. The project builds on the experiences of the Hanaholmen Initiative for Civil Crisis Cooperation, as well as the Nordic-Baltic meetings held during Sweden’s Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2024. It is in line with the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Vision 2030 and contributes to a socially sustainable, integrated and resilient Nordic region. The core of the project is a three-day training module at Hanaholmen with two participants from each Nordic and Baltic country, as well as from the autonomous areas. The project ends with a public Nordic-Baltic conference, where insights, methods and best practice examples are shared with experts, policymakers and the public.
