Plexus Polaire is an internationally acclaimed French-Norwegian theatre company directed by Yngvild Aspeli. Strong nordic atmosphere and striking visuals, mixing life-sized puppets, actors, video and music, have made the company tour around the world. For her new show based on Herman Melville’s novel Moby Dick, Yngvild Aspeli works on a bigger scale than the previous projects. With seven actors, fifty puppets, video-projections, a drowned orchestra and a whale-sized whale, Yngvild Aspeli presents a visual adaptation of this wonderful beast of a book.Moby Dick involves a team of 16 persons on tour and a semi-trailer to carry the whole set.
