The Brazilian awareness of the Nordic region is greater than each individual country. Our strategy takes advantage of this fact and utilises the joint Nordic brand to form cooperation between Nordic, Brazilian and international institutions. Throughout 2020, the embassies and our partners will organise several outreach activities. Activities that are already in the pipeline include: celebrating World Environment Day; an Open Embassies: Green Compound event to promote our pronounced value of a green Nordic region, demonstrating our work with waste management, energy savings, etc; Sustainable Mining event; the November Conference on Sustainable Ocean Economy; and Nordic Solutions for C40 Cities.
