During the Icelandic presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers in the year 2023, the Icelandic government's main goal is to strengthen expertise, education and training in the field of the fight against trafficking in human beings within the Nordic countries. The aim of the conference is to educate professionals on case-law and trends when it comes to on-line sexual exploitation and to train members of law-enforcement and prosecution, during a workshop. Professionals from all the nordic-countries will be invited to attend the conference, as well as specialists from the nordic-countries will be invited to give presentations on their professional experience. The project is a joint project of the following Icelandic stakeholders: Ministry of Justice, The Centre for Police Training and Professional Development and Reykjavik University.
