Unlocking Potential: Effective Strategies for Supporting Immigrant Children Conference organised by Nordic Network for Newly Arrived Students The conference is an opportunity for Nordic policy makers and practitioners to come together to build a common vision, strengthen their professional networks and increase collaboration. The conference is organised with the belief that Nordic societies are stronger when they receive children of foreign origin with a vision of inclusion. Together, the Nordic countries can lead the way and be an example to other countries to invest in immigrant children to realise their full potential. The seminar will: 1. Present and exchange information on: • how to build and strengthen the system that receives immigrant children, • how to equip and support professionals in the field, • which competencies schools need to develop to effectively provide psycho-social support, particularly for refugee students. • discuss and share good practices, evidence-base
