The purpose of the project is educate young voters, pique their interest in politics and increase their actual political participation through voting in Myanmar’s 2020 elections. Out of the 30 expected participants, 25 are going to be recruited from minority ethnic areas, so that the country’s ethnic diversity is reflected. Goal 1: To bring together university students who are also young voters to learn about and generate action points with regard to elections, youth participation in political participation, and raising issues which are particularly salient to the young people. Goal 2: To create a fun and friendly environment for learning about Myanmar’s elections through a participatory quiz. Goal 3: To disseminate key components of the activities mentioned in Goal 1 and 2 through social media platforms and other conventional media channels.
