Projektbeskrivning:

The aim is to etsablish a Nordic Studies Program at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto, Canada. The initiative is supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers cooperation with neighbors to the west. The aim with the Nordic Studies Program is to provide higher education at the undergraduate and graduate levels on the politics, economics, society, history, culture and languages of the Nordic region. In this context a student exchange set-up among the University of Toronto and the Nordic partner institutions in the areas covered by the program should also be developed. A permanent network of scholars and researchers between the University of Toronto and university departments and research centres in the Nordic region should also be build up, in which cooperation and dissemination of results of the resulting joint research projects can be done.
