Projektbeskrivning:

East Greenland are connected through atmospheric circulation patterns, ocean currents and fish stock migrations. Sustainable management of the ecosystems requires collaboration and exchange of knowledge between scientific communities and political bodies. The observed changes in migratory behaviour and distribution of some of the larger pelagic fish stocks, herring and mackerel, have already created severe problems in achieving agreement among parties and prevented cooperation on a sustainable management. This projevt will contribute in sustaining international collaboration, data compilation an sampling from commercial fleets. assessing climate impact on on fisheries and development of future projects.
