Projektbeskrivning:

The purpose of the project is to continue Nordic-Russian dialogue on urban development, community & neighbourhood involvement in the creation of environmentally friendly public cultural spaces & private living areas around waterfront. The project is designed to further develop themes initiated earlier, from 2017, with a deeper involvement of general public and local communities into various aspects of waterfront development. The projects “Strengthening Nordic-Russian network in ecological advocacy” and “Waterfront, neighborhood & community” were supported by the Open call programme of the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2017 and 2018. Both projects contributed to a Russian-Nordic dialogue on waterfront development, creation of new public spaces, tackling environmental challenges and community involvement in the cities around the Baltic Sea (more information www.waterfront.tools).
