Cities of tomorrow are repurposing themselves - building new narratives of their future success. They have started to think about the ability to create a flourishing environment, which can accelerate green growth and improve quality of life. The C40 Mayors Summit in Copenhagen in October 2019, provides a unique opportunity to showcase Nordic urban solutions to the rest of the world. Up to 96 Mayors from cities all over the world will visit the Danish capital to share climate solutions – and we want to show them what the Nordics has to offer! Future City 5.0 is a physical “city-in-a-city”, displaying the best and most innovative urban solutions, based on Nordic values. In addition, we want to create a platform for dialogue at the C40 Mayor Summit on how to use the SDGs as a tool for creating better, healthier and more engaging urban spaces for people around the world.
