Multinational Migrants: Ways of Adaptation in the Nordic and Baltic Countries

Gå tillbaka till föregående sida

Projektbeskrivning:

Various public and academic sectors require new approaches (transnational, cross-sectoral and others) that offer ways to analyse the possibilities of maintaining the identity of migrants, which are often superficially presented in the media and political circles. This approach focuses efforts on key populations and factors that affect vulnerability and resilience. The project aims to become acquainted with the practices of adaptation and integration of migrants from Russia, which have shown their effectiveness in the Nordic countries. Particular attention will be paid to methods of working with migrant women and children, as well as youth. The experiences of Finland, Sweden, Estonia and Lithuania are mainly represented by the activities of socially and culturally oriented public organizations that are part of the civil society of the Northern region.
