Global food systems are currently the largest driver of poor health and environmental change. Shifting towards healthy and sustainable food systems will not only yield benefits for health and the environment, but can also produce co-benefits across the SDGs. This project contributes to the Generation 2030 program by bringing together policy makers and food system actors to build a common vision for Nordic food systems and identify potential strategies and instruments to support healthy and environmentally sustainable food systems. Outputs include agreement on the facts of food systems, coalitions of actors supporting food system change, discussion on barriers and trade-offs of change, and a policy document that can be used by all food system actors to highlight their role in this change.
