The partners have cooperated in previous projects and want to focus on issues that are important for sustainable development of their countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine). In the current situation with need for strong climate action, we best do this with focus on best mitigation measures for transition to carbon neutral societies, joint visions and proposals for transition based on Green Deal. The project’s purpose is to present best mitigation measures for national implementation of the Green Deal that countries covered by the project (except Belarus) are implementing and propose better national implementation, as well as scenarios and visions for Latvia and Lithuania, and a long-term strategy for a Green Belarus.
