The project will take key steps towards transforming climate change education by empowering and equipping teachers to engage pupils. This is done by physical and online teacher training in Estonia, Poland and Sweden, by developing teachers’ materials (partly game based) and equipping both teachers and pupils with the Climate Call card game. Through providing pupils with the game they become ambassadors for climate knowledge also outside school (a model for extended learning showing promising results in ongoing research). Within the project we will train 500 teachers, distribute 5 000 Climate Call card games (in Estonian, Russian and Polish) and 20 000 - 40 000 pupils will have played the game and received education by a trained teacher.
